Ultimate Panerai PAM 111 Replica Watch
Ok, people ask what's the best replica watch out there? Davidsen, a watchmaker well respected in the community, has shown what I believe to be the closest Panerai replica I've seen to date.
Panerai 111s have been around since the replica makers have been copying the brand. They've always had some shortcoming: short cannon pinion, bad lume on the dial, polished crown guard, thin crown, crudely decorated movement, etc. It's been an easy thing for those who know what to look for to spot an unmodded Panerai replica.
This new version Davidsen is selling has fixed most of those flaws: long cannon pinion, great dial lume, new brushed crown guard, properly decorated movement. I'm hard pressed to find ANY real flaws. I'm going say perhaps the crown, but that's a lame attempt to find something.

Two biggest ones?
1. How about the misspelling of Officine Panerai on the back of the watch? That's a HUGE!!!!
2. Still has Davidsen's incorrect font on the dial, can be spotted from a mile away.

Hmm, now that you mention it, you're right about the dial, the 12 is incorrect on this one.
I didn't notice the misspelling on the caseback, that's inexcusable and unusual Davidsen.
What shocks me the most still about these watches is their inconsistencies. While you can buy an absolute gem on Monday, Tuesday can find you with a pile of crap!
I'll try to catch these problems in the future; I'm amazed I missed them on these pics. Shame on me!

No worries. Just didn't want people to expect to get the best when it's far from it. Some of the errors are so amateur it's pretty weird.

I had come across a number of dealers in the rwg.cc forums but not sure which one to buy from? Just confused.
