I've been collecting watches for more years than I'd like to remember. I started collecting replicas back in the late 90s. I remember my first piece: a Patek Calatrava that I thought was hot shit. Looking back at it it truly was a piece of junk: laser printed dial, cheap case, flat crystal. Since then I've owned many watches, both real and replica. Panerai is my brand of choice now, and the replica market is offering up way too many examples of that mark.
